MAP may be higher than expected for efficient ram air induction systems. Higher CRs (> 8.7:1) may reduce the timing advance, especially at lower altitudes and high power (less than 25 DBTDC at high power). Power is a combination of CR, MAP and RPM - lower power = greater advance = more efficient fuel usage or higher power delivery for same fuel usage. The final answer is: Yes. 5.
