I have the ultimate answer to people stealing fuel. I
have no header tank and I fitted the extended wing tanks to compenste for the
fuel that would have been in the header tank. So I have two little 5
gallon out board tanks. Once the fuel from this has been used or stolen
there is no fuel to be seen or that can be stolen. There is still at least
15 gallons each side in the inboard part of the tanks which is inaccessible to
thieves. Unfortunately you cannot dip it either.
