I bought the VG kit from Pacific Northwest Aero. The kit includes a
schematic of the Lancair wing with suggested location and a template for
setting the position of each pair of VGs. I just followed their suggested
layout, then later took off the VGs from the inner wing section. Hey, I
needed some place to sit! They supplied double sided tape for the initial
installation in case you want to experiment, and some epoxy for the final
attachment. I put mine on with the double sided tape two years ago, and
none have come off or shifted position. The kit includes quite a few extra
VGs.

Actually, I removed the inner VGs to see if it would give a more noticable
stall warning. I think it does.

BlankBob,
Nice description.
How did you determine the fore-aft location of your VGs, and the
port-starboard spacing?
Certainly a testimonial for VGs.
