I previously seemed to have fixed the problem by cannabilising my spool valve from an old pump and putting it in my "new" pump obtained from the local boat shop.
Unfortunately the problem has recurred-I have tried adjusting the door actuator for a tighter fit but to no avail. Is this a common problem experienced by others?
