In my airplane, with an IO-550, Hartzell 3-blade, all-electric, dual Chelton screen set-up, we put both batteries and the power grids behind the right seatback. We put the hydraulic pump and the ELT behind the left seatback. The only thing aft of the bulkhead is the Crossbow 500 AHRS. We put access panels in the seatbacks for ease of maintenance. The CG gets toward the front of the envelope with no fuel, no baggage, no passenger and a 170 lb. pilot. The CG gets near the rear of the envelope with a 200 lb. passenger, a 200 lb. pilot and 100 lbs. of baggage, although I don't fly in that configuration. This is true even after I switched from the small starter to a full-sized one. The engine starts fine. =20 I like the way the airplane worked out.
