Nicely said Brent. You can be so eloquent (the only
"big" word in my vocabulary)in your use of the english
and at times, foreign languages to mke your point.
The only way for a pilot to be 100% "safe" is to leave
the airplane in the hangar." Insurance companies
would love that. But I chose to take our birds out of
their hangars and aviate! Some people say I live an
unsafe life because I fly airplanes, ride motorcycles,
race cars and other "things" they deem unsafe. I
disagree with that premise because training has become
my safety zone. I love to train at whatever I am
"doing". Every flight, race or ride is another
training mission.
If you want to be 100% safe, leave the bird in the
hangar! If you chose to aviate, increase your safety
with training, practice and more training.
We have been over this "what is safe" issue on this
forum. Can we put it to rest for a while?
