I was thinking of no glue but initially place card into place with a temporary clamp, or a small patch of double faced tape, to center on main bracket bolt centers....then install two bolts, remove clamp and install other two bolts....torque them home together. If fiber-lock nuts are used no safety wire is required. If the fiber wears out, down the road, they can be replaced easily if the card is not glued in. If there is such a thing as a cleco with a 1 inch+ reach, a couple of those could be used instead of clamps. Jerry Grimmonpre' {You're right, Jerry, attaching a nutplate card with adhesive is pretty "final", as you put it, but so what? Think about all the other places on the kit where you use this approach as a routine matter... what's the difference between those apps and this one, I wonder, which would make it less appealing here but more appealing there? Personally I would rather fiddle around with clamping it into position one time only and not worry about it from that point forward. You also have to remember that we're not talking about a component that's going to be removed very often... the GM4 bracket remains in place even if you need to pull the gear for some reason. Here's one of those opportunities to make something easier down the road once and for all, what's the point of going half way? ] >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
