I saw the discussion on paint designers and thought I would let you know
that there is a guy in NY City named Craig Barnett that owns a company
named Scheme Designers that designs paint schemes for aircraft.  He did a
design on a Cessna T-210 for me two months ago and it turned out great.  He
did the new Piper designs for 2000 and has a program that allows him to
scan in your aircraft and put any design and color combo you would
consider.  He then sets you up a web site and mails you the info. for
review.  You tell him the colors you want to see and the changes appear.
After the final design is finished he mails you color sketches with
instructions for the painter on how to lay the design out.  I paid $350 for
his work on my 210.  Prices vary according to complexity.  He will design
from scratch or show you ideas he has used before to find out where you are
headed.  A great guy and very professional.  He is a pilot and loves
