I have completed the SB in my 360 and will be helping C. Caldwell do his 235 in the next month or so. Most difficult part is pulling the gear...the only way to get to the area and not mess up the gear attachment is to pull it. I did the whole thing in a little over one day (that much time needed for the hysol to dry sufficiently), once the gear is off, pattern for the quarter inch phenolic (half hour), prepare phenolic and area for bonding (half hour), hysol (takes very little and I have some extra) (20 minutes), let dry to make sure it set up right (over night), prepare surfaces again and apply bid (one hour), check after three hours or less if a heat lamp is used, do any triming needed, repaint if painted, reinstall gear, check gear and you are done. Maybe we can do both airplanes at the same time since there is room in our heated hanger at Manassas. Send me an email and we can coordinate.
