I talked with WSI this morning and was told by Cory
that existing customers will have their hardware replaced at no charge.
This will include a new antennae. They will start taking orders at the end
of July beginning of Aug. I was told the new antennae will look like the
aviation antennae that came with the unit. I ask about grounding issues
but was referred to engineering. So if you are thinking about changing
antennas or location you might want to hold off for a bit. The new system
will not be up until the end of the year.
I was also told that WSI is evaluating their
pricing. As Colyn suggested, I gave them my input and it probably would
hurt for other user to do the same.
