I go to = fly for the first time in just under three months yesterday –brought CZJ = back from Adelaide to Point = Cook.

Had to have a bulk strip due non = ferrous metals in the oil filter, (no damage found).

Had Infinity grips fitted with new = electric pitch and revamped aileron and flap operation.

Last year while away OS ( howdy = Sue, Bill and Scott) had the CHT problems addressed. They reformed the cowl inlets = and opened them up by 1” in diameter.

That worked and brought the = hottest CHT (#4) down to 390 df.

Well, coming back yesterday, I = flew at cloud base 3500 feet ( only VFR these days) at 25 square and had 178 KIAS with = the hottest CHT (#4) maxing out at 354 df, OAT 17 degrees = C.

Average GS was 204 = kts.

I’m gonna have another bulk = strip next year and see if I can get more!!!!
