You may be right. I tried a couple of flash
shots at 1/250th & 1/2000th of water droplets falling from a faucet. I
can't see much difference, but the 2000th seems a little sharper when
magnified. Oddly, the indicated shutter speed with built-in flash of 2000
changed downward automatically as I increased the lens opening.
That still doesn't explain satisfactorily why I
lost the tip of the Boeing fin, when no other edges are missing or curved.
Especially since the phenomenon has never been repeated in the hundreds of
similar photos I've taken.
I found I still had the original image on the SD
card (HQ jpg) with no changes, so I attached it too.
