Grayhawk... My poor, lost soul... You thinks XC

Slim chance I'll be at OSH this year. News is
forthcoming. If so, let's race!
Scotty G,
Arrrrrggghhh.... Reno, 'tis a race for whippets, circling and going
nowhere. True it requires razor sharp tactical decisions and great motor
skills - BUT XC, now there's a race that requires strategic planning,
knowledge of the winds, anti-bug shields and the capability to deal with
the weather and the whether -- Whether your engine can fly for hours at
takeoff power. Oh, and so much more.... Reno lies pale in comparison
to the real-time lies heard on the race frequency - most notably false favorable
conditions reported at high altitudes to suck the unwary away from the race
course. Beer you say. Well, here the beer is provided to all
racers that care to partake. Pointless to buy since the "winner" is not
revealed til dinnertime.
Yes, one must use XC race time wisely - especially to show that there is a
replacement for displacement.
Take a break and come join us in the cup race, if you dare.
