That view is contrary to the known and appreciated science.
Once one has seen the temperature-strength curve that was presented to the APS class just today, one gains a rapid appreciation that keeping CHTs under 380 has value where longevity concerns lie. The strength degradation is not linear.
The two biggest enemies of metal are heat and pressure. Suggesting that high heat is good is not in harmony with the science.
