Putting on a bandaid like you're talking about is still going to leave you with a crooked tail and possibly permanent yaw. A few builders are pulling off their skins to straighten bent wings, so it can be done to the tail. The best option is to do it right. It'll be a pain, but you'll sleep better at night knowing you fixed the problem the right way. Skip Slater N540ES
