The transfer pumps move fuel from the wings to the header. The engine runs only on header fuel. Our total fuel is 52 gallons. 52 gallons was plenty to fly it to Europe. We landed with 3 hours reserve on our longest leg (a 5 hour leg into headwinds from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland to Reykjavik, Iceland). Uhhhh, the answer is Depends.
