I needed the instant gratification and purchased an already built 320 instead of building one. I hope you builders can forgive me and over time be able to regain your trust !! In doing so, a few ( and many more to come, I'm sure ) questions has sprung to mind. It does not have landing lights. I seem to remember someone suggesting a system mounted to the landing gear. Any suggestions out there ? Also it has the old style ( forward moving canopy ). The locking mechanism on each side of the canopy is damaging the padded section of the dash board. Any upgrades ? Also, has anyone come up with an emergency canopy release system ? I would also like to install an auto pilot at some time in the future ( something like a S-tec 30 ). Is that possible without cutting into the wings to install servos. I also just learned about SB 050-0999. Does this apply to all LNC2's or just the fastbuilt version ? I hope you can excuse me for these possible trivial questions, but being new to all this and at the bottom of the learning curve, I simply attempt to learn more in the hope that I can contribute more constructively in the hopefully not to distant ) future. I am certainly excited to fly the Lancair 320. What a kick ! Flying is fun again.
