"I find I have a slight interference on the inside edge of the right side tire and the gear door cutout. I would estimate of about 0.5 inch. The left tire misses the cutout by about 0.75 inch. The location is just before the end of the hinge, so can not simply grind the fuselage for the clearance. Any Suggestions?????

You might want to check your toe in and Caster/Camber with the gear down.  If it is not correct, it can be changed with special shims from Lancair.  This changes the tire position quite a bit where the gear goes into the fuselage.
