I seem to have the impression that with the exception of thee and
me, everyone in the LNC2 universe is flying by now. You better slow
down, I think you are getting too far ahead of me!):
When I
acquired all my panel crud, it was state of the art, now I fine out
that my GX60 isn't even WAAS upgradable...bummer

Wait ... don't forget me ... I'm still hacking away
at my LNC2 ... 360. Moving into the cockpit. All structural
components complete. I'm laminating in the "tunnel", seatback and
"glove compartment". Then moving forward. So don't get so in a
"hurry". I'm coming along. BTW ... I have no instruments at all, no
engine, prop, governor, upholstery, paint and other stuff missing.
Have the moula just not enough time and energy all the time to hack
away all day or even every day. Ya'll hang in there ... good comes to
those patient hangers on. Jim Nordin
Fellas,
Fret not. Not too long ago when Lancairs were all slow build models,
it took a lot longer to finish them than where you are at now. I picked up
my early airframe in November 1987 (#212) in Oxnard, California. First
flight was March 1999.
During the building process I thought, "man, I gotta get this thing done
'cause I wanna go fly." Now, I look back and think, this maintenance stuff
sucks, building was more fun.
I'm jealous.
