Dan, Interesting..... At a late point in the building process, after the flaps had been operating, I didn't like the way the construction manual had the physical connections to the relays. Ergo, I built a bracket supporting relay sockets to make replacement easier even with the socket connections soldered. Of course, the relays have not yet failed because it would be so easy to simply plug in a new one. Oh, if only I had thought of maintenance simplicity for many of the other aircraft systems....... LNC2 Flight Rules: 1. Carry a spare tire and tube - nobody will have them if (and when) you are in need. 2. Remember to only land at airports near a Radio Shack and/or NAPA auto parts store. 3. Never carry tools, you won't have the right one anyway. 4. Try to land into the wind.
