After = it welded itself closed, I investigated. I turned out to only be a = continuous duty relay, eventhough it was being sold as a starter relay. = Make/break current rating was only 85A. Continuous current on my starter = is about 150A. The highest we measured was 350A at start of cranking. I = forget the rating of my current starter relay, but it is in line with the = actual needs of the system.
