I have used Bose model 1 headsets since 1990 (in a Skymaster, no less) and in my LNC2 since 1996. My problems are that Bose changed the panel interface twice with no prior compatibility and they no longer support the model 1s. They have worked superbly over the years but they are heavy and sweaty in the heat. Recently, I added normal receptacles to the aircraft and I now fly with Aloft Technologies' Clarity earplug headset. The sound suppression is more than adequate, although different. They weigh almost nothing and are comfortable on long trips. On startup, I don the frame (supports the excellent mike) and turn on the cabin speaker. Thus, I can delay inserting earplugs and still communicate with ground/clearance. _http://www.clarityaloft.com/_ (http://www.clarityaloft.com/) Scott Krueger AKA Grayhawk LNC2 N92EX IO 320 SB 89/96 -------------------------------1143809198 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
