Anyone have any good ideas for fuel filtration in the Legacy?  On my last one I used the Andair gascolator package, but was not happy with it.  The gascolator is nicely designed and manufactured, but provides only modest filtration.  The biggest problem is that when the gascolator is mounted in the factory-recommended location, it is almost impossible to reach during a usual pre-flight.  What's more, unless you have one person in the cockpit to bump the boost switch, normally almost nothing comes out of the drain when you try to get some with your fuel tester.  If you run the boost pump longer, you might run around quickly enough to get a little, but at risk of dumping fuel all over the ramp out of the cylinder drains and sniffle valve.
I'm planning an even tighter cowl this time with Aero Chia's mods, so the Andair gascolator and drain system will be useless.  Thinking about using a Mallory 3160 racing style filter, with a removeable bowl and throwaway paper filter element, which provides 5 micron filtration.  Just have to catch any water in the fuel tank drains.
