So far I've built two ES's and one Legacy
and have not put static wicks on any of them. I had some problems with
radio reception in the first ES, but looking back, I'm pretty sure that that was
due to (1) Terra radios (remember them?), and (2) not having yet gotten religion
on grounding practices from Bob Nuckolls. The second ES and the Legacy did
not experience any interference with radio reception, and in fact were nice and
static-free, even going in and out of Las Vegas, where humidity has yet to be
discovered.
