My G1000 equipped 182 has em and I really like them. Now I know where to get them... Not cheap, but probably worth it. 182 implementation - http://www.highrf.com/gallery/38AL-Engine/DSCN0190_edited_1 - you can see the wire sleeved to one side of the connector on the instrument side, then the other side of the plug-in-connector to the extension wire to the firewall, on the other.
