Porting (flow balancing) does help improve balance and smoothness.  In=20=

some cases it improves HP by making the cylinders more volumetrically=20
efficient.  It is not as helpful with Millennium cylinders as they are=20=

pretty good right out of the box.

As it turns out, polishing can actually be counter-productive as it has=20=

been shown to create turbulence by not having a good boundary layer. =20
As a result, I've ported (flow-balanced), but not polished and have had=20=

nice results.
