Hi, John!
I have a 235 with an O-235. I have the 11-12 gallon header tank and 16-17 gallon wing tanks feeding it through Facet pumps, and think that is the way to go for fuel management. It's very comforting to look at that sight gauge on the panel and see exactly how much fuel I have left. I manage my fuel by means of a timer. I start with 10-11 gal in the header, set the timer to 20-25 minutes, and when the alarm goes off I'm down to 8 gallons. At that point I set the timer to 5 minutes, turn on the two wing-tank fuel pumps, and when the alarm sounds, I'm back at 10 gallons. I usually plan 6 gal/hr plus 2 gallons and put that amount in my wings for a trip. I like having the wing tanks just out of fuel when I reach my destination and 8-10 gallons in the header.  Very simple and very confidence inspiring!  Paul
