I had exactly the same experience with Lycon.  It took me months and a
personal visit to finally get a refund for prepaid work that was frequently
promised but never done.  I was beginning to wonder how they came up with
their name.

On topic, if you want to go faster, just push all the knobs forward and
leave them there.  Continentals don't have a great reputation for longevity
stock, hopping them up can't help.
