Yes we are. Start in the middle and work to either side.

Probably a good idea, but it is more important to avoid machined 90 degree
fittings. If I had a choice between -6 tube with strait fittings and -8 with
90's, I'd take the -6. You can think of the system as a series of orifices, if
there is one choke point it doesn't really matter much what you do elsewhere.
