In reply to Daniel Olsen, I bonded (with Hysol) a strip of aluminum about
3/4" wide on the outboard side of the nose gear tunnel before it was all
assembled and subsequently reinforced it with the normal tunnel attach BID
schedule. After the glassing was complete I drilled and tapped 8-32 at each
screw hole location. Plan to use some Loctite 232 (removeable) to keep
screws in place. You could also embed a strip of nylon to make a big Nyloc
nut covering all holes but this would take some figuring.
