Approximately 2-3 weeks ago I returned my ES nose gear strut to Lancair for a "rework". When it was returned, they had forgotten to re-install the bearing blocks which connect the strut to the engine mount. Vern was able to find these blocks (or so he thought) and have them sent to me. Unfortunately, they are someone else's. Hopefully whoever these belong to has mine and only a one way trade is necessary. The ones I received have three 1/4" holes drilled in them as opposed to two 1/4" and one 3/16" hole. Lancair is going to try to sort this mess out, but in the meantime I am using this forum as an alternate. So, if you recently had an ES or IV nose gear strut returned and the bearing block drilled holes don't match those in your engine mount, you may well have mine and hopefully I have yours.
