 I have the same problem...though on the copilot side! I spoke to Justin
 at Lancair and we thought perhaps relocating the mounting point of the
 inner gear door cylinder so the at the door opens more might correct the
 problem - my gear doors open less than 80 degrees.
 
 The restrictor idea sounds much easier if it works. Please let us know!
