It's been several years since we adjusted the voltage on
John's Legacy but if memory serves at the time someone told me that the voltage
went down about one volt per revolution. We backed off the screw one half
turn and went from 14.2 to 13.8 volts. At least that's how we remember
it. On this subject, a word to the wise would be to keep in mind the
location of the voltage adjusting screw when mounting the regulator to ensure
future access. John's is on the front of the firewall and to get to the
screw we had to drill a small hole in the cowling joggle for screwdriver
clearance. Can't have too many lightening holes.
