When I first read up on the Thielert, it had 125 HP. Because of the engines turbocharger, it was supposed to have more HP than the IO-320 above 5,000 ft.

IO-320 = 80% x 160 = 128 HP at about 5,000 ft.
IO-320 = 67% x 160 = 107 HP at about 10,000 ft.
GTIO-Thielert = 135 hp till about 12,000 ft.
And the HP differential becomes even greater at higher altitudes.

Now it is up to 135 HP and 5,000 ft isn't to high for me to wait for power.

Why would you choose a lower horsepower engine over a standard installation with more smash? Just curious.
