Falcon claimed I wasn't comparing apples to oranges. Upon furnishing the PikWest quote to Falcon, Jim told me he appreciated the info and he would take it back to the Falcon/EAA group. I don't have his quote for me as a VFR ONLY pilot. He did however get close with Falcon if I get my IFR ticket. Sorry for not having the VFR/Falcon quote-but it was nearly $5,000. Pik*West had the aircraft insured at the time of purchase. The whole thing took 3-4 days to put together. I do suggest getting the IFR ticket. It really broadens the underwriter availability.
