Not to bad mouth my heritage but after dealing with my relatives, and my co-workers at Bayer, I have found that one is prone to encounter such posturing when a technical person's specialty (aka fiefdom) is called into question.  I have not dealt with Klaus yet but when I have that opportunity I shall picture him dressed as Sgt. Schultz of Hogan's Heroes fame.  Kinda makes it easier to take.
