I am looking for the small door spring on the trailing edge of the main
gear
door. It looks like a "clothes pin" type of spring to keep
the small
trailing door closed and out of the way of the other main gear
door.

John, as per the manual, P/N 557-05 is the part you are looking for and is
part of the kit. If you did not get it, call Justin at Lancair and he will
send it to you. It is about 1.2" long and about .28" diameter. They
have it ID'ed as an air door spring if I remember correctly.
