A couple of months ago I was looking for tungsten powder.  All of the places I was coming across had 1 ton or more mins., a little more than I needed.  I finally found a place with smaller mins.  BUFFALO TUNGSTEN--talked with a Ralph and explained what I needed the powder for.  His comment was that if I was drilling out lead and replacing with tungsten to balance my elev. I would be better to use bar stock since mixing powder with epoxy significantly reduces the weight advantage.  I used 1/2" bar 1 3/8" long. 1 at forward end of counter weight worked great.  Ralph was very helpful.  See the website at buffalotungsten.com
