Vern,

I want to add my thanks for all the help you provided over the years building my plane. I first met you during my builder's week and went over parts and supplies I'd need. Not often will one meet a person who will tell you honestly what a builder will need and not need. You put together a special extra box of nuts, screws and bolts that saved me countless dollars in shipping charges. You  continually looked up part numbers when I really should have been more prepared when ordering. You went out of your way on several occasions to put a couple of bolts in an envelope and personally drop it in the mail even when I called at 4:00 p.m. You even offered the use of your camper when I was asking about how the fishing was up there and wanted to take my son out. In short, you are a prince among men. It has been so good to know you over the years and will be sorely missed.

I know you will be attending the Labor Day fly-in and I'll be there Friday if you'd like to have a ride in 8DB. Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
