Even after being warned, my painter covered the Strikefinder antenna with
metallic green paint.
Replacement antenna cost ne $1500!

A question for you avionics types. Does metal flake paint have any
effect on internal antennas? I hope to be painting next month and am
considering several metal flake colors. Thanks in advance for your
help.
