Dan,
Thanks for the info....could you perhaps share with the group some of the more salient items Pete touched on...in other words, what did you find most interesting/important?
Thanks!

LML Gang, I just wanted to follow up on the ground school event held at the Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In last weekend. I attended the ground school with an objective to become a better pilot, learn to make better decisions and be able to refine my judgment a bit more. Bottom line is that I was VERY PLEASED with the training I received from Pete Zaccagnino of High Performance Aircraft Training (HPAT). He gave a very thorough review of everything from aerodynamics to air traffic control to weather to emergency procedures, etc. Pete’s personal experiences as well as the direct reviews of previous Lancair accidents really drove home the reality of these amazing little machines we all fly. When one of these sessions is offered again, please do make an effort to sign up and open your mind to learning. Continuing education will only help us stay safe and make insurance more affordable. Next time Pete is my neck of the woods I’m going to take him up on at least a ½ day of dual in my plan. Safe Flying! Dan Olsen N320DK
