John asks:
<<<Can you suggest a product and a source for the replacement of the nylaflow on
the pedal assemblies?
Also, Bill Maddox suggested I ask you about a company in so Cal that makes
some really good fasteners for cowl attachment >>>

I used Parker PDH  hose but I had to machine fabricate some -4 JIC fittings as Parker only offers NPT. Another good choice would be stainless braided over teflon, commonly used for race car brakes. Sacramento Skyranch can make you a set in 3/16" hose.

The absolute best cowling fasteners are Tridair Products "Live Lock". They are VERY expensive (~$40 /set in single qty to $22/set in 100 Qty) and worth it. I am still using the original ones I installed 10 years ago. I used the CA1810 "nut" and the CA1820-2 screw.  The -2 length was the longest needed so I shimmed the other nuts into the same grip range. That way all the screws were the same length. Distributor is Special-T Fasteners (now Alcoa)  in Chatsworth CA 800 992 4444.

Because of the big price break at 100 pcs it would save you ~$500 each to get 3 or 4 builders together.

Brent
