About 5 or 6 years ago, a fellow builder made a reference to a strut adapter
that was being built and sold commercially. The adapter has four ports and is
used to more easily get high pressure nitrogen into the gear struts. One of
the ports has a pressure guage attached to read the existing strut pressure,
one port is used to relieve pressure, one port is used to connect the device
to the gear strut schraeder valve and the fourth port is used to apply

nitrogen, or any other gas.

Item B works for me.  It is on page 107 of their catalog.  Phone 815-389-9999

Nitrogen source into right end, left end tightened to schrader valve on the strut, pressure then dialed in from tank regulator, thumbscrew (hidden at left end) turned in to depress schrader valve plunger and then turned out (to shut off valve) when desired pressure attained.  Then, pressure released at regulator and equipment disconnected.  Remember to flush some nitrogen into connecting hose before hooking it all up.
