Before I power up my wsi200 + mx20 I thought I
would see about subscriptions.
I found out the following:
1) xm subscription maxes out at
$50/month.
If you want winds aloft, graphical pireps, and
canadian radar, wsi is $100/month
2) wsi says xm doesn't have canadian radar and that
it is illegal to operate an xm unit in Canada.
....still verifying this with wsi.
3) wsi says no mx20 will display winds
aloft.
garmin says it will work with a gdl69
Anyone who has this equipment can you confirm or
deny any of the above?
