Dick,
One question on your Nylaflo failure: on my ES, the kit came with pre-made braided lines that go from the firewall to the pilot's brake pedals, and from the fuselage to the brakes. The only nylaflo goes from the pilot's brake pedals to the co-pilot's and from there to the parking brake valve to the parking brake valve, all fairly short lengths. Aluminum tubing goes from the valve to the bulkhead fittings going out of the fuselage. Does the Legacy manual call for Nylaflo to go down to the calipers?
