I've been using an aluminum forward bulkhead with the light fiberglass spinner.
After hundreds of hours, some wear damage was becoming apparent at the mating contact surface.
I corrected this by applying some beads of silicone rubber onto the bulkhead with a grooved tool like a flooring cement trowel.
Now, we're up to 1335 hrs with no more trouble.
Mark,

Success counts!

Was the bulkhead flanged or just a sheet of aluminum "terminated?"

Where did the bulkhead come from?

Grayhawk

PS: I still like my polished spinner - Just like the Chrome Disease I have, yet unsatisfied by "add-ons" to my motorcycle!
