I used a piece of carbon pre-preg and cut it to fit the inside of the spinner at the location of the crush plate. I also cut a hole 1/8" larger than the diameter of the crush plate. Using a mixture of epoxy and flox, I bonded the bulkhead to the spinner. Again using the epoxy/flox mixture, I filled the de-cored ID of the bulkhead and built up a generous amount to make up for the 1/16" gap and installed the spinner (after first covering the crush plate with cellophane packing tape). The next day I removed the spinner and packaging tape. After a little sanding to remove sharp edges, I had a perfect fit. I have felt for some time that the fibreglass spinner is much too flimsy with no forward bulkhead. In fact I have had to replace the spinner back up plate on my 360 due to the spinner wobbling and cracking the plate. It lasted just over 100 hours. I will be very interested to see what the group has to say about it an if there is a spinner available with a forward bulkhead.
