I collect in a MATCO = BREAK FLUID=20 RESERVOIR (from ACS).  It is glass and I mounted low = so=20 I see to check it from under the cowling.  Normally 1/3 = full at=20 oil change.  My oil separator is vintage Tony Bingelis.  Cost = about $5=20 in material and a little welding -- works great.
