We meet about every 5 weeks for lunch and usually focus our roving get togethers at one of the local DFW metroplex lancair projects. The diet is often fine BBQ and the group has several skilled formation pilots often arriving or departing at the speed of heat on recurrent formation hops. At any given meeting we have 10-20 in attendance with roughly 40 people on the email distribution list. There are usually at least a couple flying Lancairs on display. Our next get together will not be a project visit but the Spring Pecan Plantaion Fly-In this May 7th (EAA ch 983). There are two 360s and a Columbia based on the field and Randy Hurst is planning to share a few laps around the patch in his fresh out of the box Legacy. There are routinely 100 a/c at the Pecan Fly-ins of all eras and certifications. As you West Coasters are enjoying we too take great pleasure in the comradery of visiting with fellow Lancair builders and flyers. If one would like to be added to my distribution list for invitations to our get togethers please zap me an email with a little about your project.
