Ron,

1)  There have been a number of failures of Nylaflow tubing used on brakes (not just on Lancairs).  Failures appear to be tied to temperature, twisting and age.   I used 3/16 aluminum hardline and Aeroquip hose where things need to move - one less thing to worry about.

2)   Using the remote reservoir with MC4A cylinders makes maintenance much easier.

4)   Hardly ever use it, but it sure is nice when you need one.  Reliable - yes
